Pediatric Dentistry

What happens on the first visit?
The American Dental Association recommends that a child’s first dental visit occur at 1 year of age or within six months after the eruption of the first tooth. Early and regular visits help your child become familiar and comfortable with our doctors and staff, significantly reducing the anxiety often associated with dental visits. This proactive approach allows us to detect potential problems early and intervene to prevent future complications. A parent or legal guardian must accompany the child on the first visit.
